A thoughtful renovation | Making more of what’s already there

The brief
The brief was to transform an existing three-bedroom, one-bathroom home on a subdivided block, creating a more spacious and functional family home while keeping costs considered. With the original garage removed to allow vehicle access to the new rear lot, a simple front carport was introduced as a practical alternative. The existing home was reconfigured and extended to create a generous four-bedroom, two-bathroom layout, with a new kitchen, living and dining area to the rear. The front façade received a simple, considered facelift, refreshing the home’s appearance without unnecessary expense. The result is a more functional, modern family home that makes the most of the existing structure while accommodating the future subdivision.
